Kuldeep Patil is an independent artist-researcher and writer exploring theory-making, cultural critique, and archival inquiry. Their work spans academic and non-academic spaces, engaging with the socio-political dynamics of art and institutions. Currently a Scientific Fellow at documenta (Germany) and Asia Art Archive (India), they lead research on Culture@WSF 2004. Kuldeep’s practice blends queer historiography, critical analysis, and collaborative research, with writings featured in Takshila Yearbook, The Wire, and MASH India. They foreground thinking as a tool to challenge dominant narratives and spotlight overlooked epistemologies.
Rochan Dayal Mathur (RDM) is a stage and screen actor, improv comedian, and drama facilitator trained at the Drama School Mumbai. With 200+ improv shows, theatrical productions, and digital content for Indiatimes and MensXP, he blends performance with pedagogy. As Project & Design Manager at Steps Drama, he uses drama to foster empathy and communication in organizations. Rochan’s storytelling bridges creativity and learning, making him a dynamic presence in both artistic and training spaces. Offstage, he enjoys Jagjit Singh’s ghazals, yoga, and EV motorbike rides.
Sufyan Khan is a seasoned theatre pedagogue, director, and educator trained at NSD’s Theatre-In-Education Wing. With a background in humanities and library science, he blends critical inquiry with performance. As founder of Rangmanch and artistic director of AAOMA—The Third Space Foundation, Sufyan champions socially engaged theatre. Currently teaching at Ramagya School, Noida, he integrates drama into education, fostering empathy and creativity. His work spans workshops, productions, and cultural outreach, nurturing new generations of storytellers and keeping community-based theatre vibrant and transformative.
Debraj Dutta is a veteran theatre educator with over two decades of experience in educational and applied theatre. A founding member of SHUNYA: An Arts Collective Trust and an alumnus of Rabindra Bharati University, he has worked extensively in children’s theatre, DiE, and TIE. His long association with NSD’s TIE Company and roles at Azim Premji Foundation and Shiv Nadar School highlight his expertise in integrating drama into pedagogy. Now Head of Performing Arts at Ramagya School, Noida, Debraj champions theatre as a powerful tool for inquiry, empathy, and interdisciplinary learning.
Prashasan S. Maltiar is a renowned Scenic Designer and Theatre Director whose work blends visual artistry with social purpose. A 2006 graduate of the National School of Drama, he is known for his expertise in set, lighting, and projection design, and has collaborated with directors like M.K. Raina and Roysten Abel. His participatory theatre practice spans rural and academic spaces, both in India and abroad, using Theatre in Education and applied drama to inspire dialogue and transformation. Prashasan reimagines theatre as a space for critical engagement and meaningful community connection.
