Shunya, a pioneering theater academy in India, specializes in tailored training programs for educational leaders, teachers, and decision-makers. Our goal is to foster a strong community, share valuable resources, conduct engaging webinars, and provide access to multimedia educational content. Kuldeep Patil is an independent artist-researcher and writer exploring theory-making, cultural critique, and archival inquiry. Their work spans academic and non-academic spaces, engaging with the socio-political dynamics of art and institutions. Currently a Scientific Fellow at documenta (Germany) and Asia Art Archive (India), they lead research on Culture@WSF 2004. Kuldeep’s practice blends queer historiography, critical analysis, and collaborative research, with writings featured in Takshila Yearbook, The Wire, and MASH India. They foreground thinking as a tool to challenge dominant narratives and spotlight overlooked epistemologies.
Rochan Dayal Mathur (RDM) is a stage and screen actor, improv comedian, and drama facilitator trained at the Drama School Mumbai. With 200+ improv shows, theatrical productions, and digital content for Indiatimes and MensXP, he blends performance with pedagogy. As Project & Design Manager at Steps Drama, he uses drama to foster empathy and communication in organizations. Rochan’s storytelling bridges creativity and learning, making him a dynamic presence in both artistic and training spaces. Offstage, he enjoys Jagjit Singh’s ghazals, yoga, and EV motorbike rides.
